Mary Mapes Learned Nothing

There is a Newsmax Article about Mary Mapes and her continued lashing out at conservative blogs and blaming us truthsayers for her demise at CBS. She obviously has learned nothing from the whole affair. For one thing, far from her reality is the expectation that people have that reporters (and their producers) validate a story before releasing it for mass consumption. Not only was this not done, but Ms. Mapes stands by her conviction that it is not necessary to validate a story before releasing it. Her elitist attitude gives us a peek into how the mainstream media operates. And just think, before the internet and and FOX news this type of garbage was the daily fare on the major news networks.
